Performance Enhancement of Self-Cleaning Hydrophobic Nanocoated Photovoltaic Panels in a Dusty Environment

چکیده

The efficiency of a photovoltaic (PV) panels drops significantly in dusty environments. variation temperature could have substantial impact on PV panel cells, which further lead to high deterioration and eventually permanent damage the material presence dust. To resolve this issue, work novel hydrophobic silicon dioxide (SiO2)-based nanoparticle coating is proposed for panel, shrink surface stress developed between water coated facet. Two identical modules were installed conduct comparable experimental tests simultaneously. first module by SiO2 nanoparticles, second uncoated used as reference. maintain coherency, experiments are done same environmental conditions, cleaning at regular intervals. Results reveal that accumulated energy generated during period study was comprehensively enhanced. Moreover, self-cleaning property allowed droplets slide smoothly down surface, carrying dust particles. Useful recommendations made end enhance performance
